A huge congratulations to our Portumna Community School Junior Cup rugby team, who secured a fantastic 28-14 victory over a gallant St. Raphael’s in their semi-final clash. This hard-fought win sees them progress to the final, where they will take on Calasanctius Oranmore.
Special recognition goes to Head Coach Mr. Leo Smith for his leadership and dedication, along with TY student Adam Finn, who has done a fantastic job as Assistant Head Coach. A huge thanks also to Mr. Alan Haverty for his invaluable support and mentoring of the team throughout their campaign.
A big thank you to Portumna Rugby Club for their excellent facilities and continued coaching support, as well as to Connacht Rugby for their ongoing encouragement.
