Dear Parents/Guardians,
We will welcome the NCCA (National Council for Curriculum & Assessment) to the school this Wednesday as part of their national consultation on the draft specifications for Leaving Certificate Agricultural Science and Physics/Chemistry. I am attaching the information letter from the NCCA for your attention.
Senior Ag Science/Physics/Chemistry students have also received consent forms to allow them to participate in student focus groups with the NCCA taking place on Wednesday. These forms should be completed by students and parents this evening and returned to the Deputy Principal’s office tomorrow morning.
The following teachers will also take part in the consultation: Ag Science: Mr. Smith and Mr. Hanney, Chemistry: Ms. Keena and Physics: Ms. Hickey & Mr. Hobbs. The Senior Leadership team will also be interviewed as part of this consultation.
