Maths Week
- Puzzle of the Day: Daily in the social area – students can submit answers in the box provided.
- 1st Year Maths Club: Thursday lunchtime – student-led.
- Maths Trail: 1st Years will complete this during their maths classes.
- Daily Brainteasers: Shared with students via PowerPoint.
Academic Focus – Week 10-Ms. Kelly will share exam timetables this week
- Athena Target Setting: Students will reflect on academic goals.
- Margaret (Academic Director) will visit classes to support this initiative and whole school drop everything and set targets-10 mins Tuesday.(Can parents ensure students login to their Athena and set atrgets for week 10s-discuss at home)
- Forbairt team communication to parents/students/staff to help with this
Homework Reminder
- Teachers will use the “SHOW ME” strategy – students show their journals at the end of lessons to confirm homework is recorded.
- In SPHE classes, students will write out subjects studied in Weeks 1–9.
- SSE team will issue communication to parents/students/staff re focus for next half term also
