Dear Parents/Guardians,
We would like to sincerely thank you for your support and understanding over the past number of days as our school community has navigated the very sad passing of our colleague and dear friend, Mrs. Margaret Lohan.
In particular, we want to commend our students for the exceptional dignity, respect and compassion they have shown throughout this difficult time. Whether in school, at the Mass, during the guard of honour, through the beautiful singing of our Chamber Choir, or in their quiet presence and conduct during the funeral and across the week, their behaviour has been absolutely outstanding. We are extremely proud of the maturity and empathy they have demonstrated in honouring Mrs. Lohan.
A reminder that there will be a Senior Cycle Options Information Evening tonight (FOR PARENTS OF 3rd YEARS AND TYS ONLY) online at 7.30pm, delivered by Leo Smith and Denise Lyons. This is an online event and can be accessed through your son or daughter’s Teams account. A link has been sent via your childs teams account. Attendance at this talk is particularly important for those year groups. A form is also scheduled to send this evening at 8.15pm for you to complete following the talk- this must be completed before March 6th at 4pm.
Finally, if any student feels they need additional support following Mrs. Lohan’s passing, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s Year Head. Thank you for your continued support.
